About Us
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM) is a professional accountancy body in Malawi which was established out of a merger of the Public Accountants Examination Council of Malawi (PAEC) and the Society of Accountants in Malawi (SOCAM). This followed the passing and coming into effect of the Public Accountants and Auditors Act (Act No.5 of 2013). ICAM is a full member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA).
