2018 KNOWLEDGE LEVEL BURSARY

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM), in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, is hereby inviting applications for the 2018 bursary to support 10 students studying for the Knowledge Level of the Chartered Accountant (Malawi) programme.

The bursary amount is £825. It is for training only where it covers all fees related to ICAM services such as registration fees, examination fees, annual subscription, purchase of study materials and tuition fees at a learning institution recognised by ICAM. Note that if the bursary recipient account has funds remaining after completing Knowledge Level, the money will be used at the Professional Level. Recipients will be responsible to manage their accounts. However, money will not be given directly to bursary recipients or for purposes other rather those listed above.

Students who would like to be considered for the bursary should submit their applications in which they should indicate the following:

  • Education qualifications
  • Career objectives

  • Date of birth and Gender
  • Previous/current work experience
  • Any previous/current bursaries/scholarships (if any)
  • Personal/family financial circumstances
  • Any exceptional personal circumstances
